Ever Architecture Studio
New Build Guide
Creating Purposeful Space
Ever Studio are experts in thoughtful, heartfelt and creative architecture.
We aren’t trying to impose a brand on our buildings, or designing for fame on the socials. What motivates us is the belief that as we design with care and connect people to place, our clients and building users live better - inhabiting, enjoying and flourishing in buildings designed for their good.
Unique and Adaptable
We design homes for individuals and families - and no solution is the same.
Some are after designs that can evolve in stages as their family grows; others want multi-generational living, creative work-from-home or adaptable arrangements, or a once-for-all dream home. Regardless of type or scope, whether designed for cost efficiency or immersive luxury, we approach every project with fresh eyes, a curious mind, and an ultimate desire to look after the people we’re designing for.
Homes for Thriving
We love breathing new life into homes, creating spaces that help our clients to thrive in place.
We work authentically to different building types, languages, materials and styles. The common thread throughout our work is that our clients come home to spaces marked by a sense of peace, derived from connection to nature. They are homes that are a stage for life, enjoyed in both quiet solitude and when shared with loved ones in generous hospitality.

The dawning of a new year is also a ripe opportunity for beginning the project that you’ve been mulling over. Here’s why.
Yes, times are hard. But we’d never ask our clients to walk through waters we aren’t prepared to step through ourselves. Find out why I’m still working to renovating my own place!
As you may have heard already, the construction industry is going through a time of quite unprecedented price rises. From what we’ve seen, it’s been a challenging time for both clients and builders alike. Material shortages, shipping issues and delayed timeframes have been all too common, and some are speculating that things may become even busier next year as borders open up to both interstate and international markets. So if you are considering building a new home or renovating your existing one, how should you navigate this current environment? We have five tips for you to think through.
Fuel costs, shipping challenges and delays, floods, a heated market and more - these factors have all contributed to a confronting start to 2022. We have spoken to many who are unsure whether it’s wise to begin a project in today’s environment. Others are holding off, hoping that the expected interest rate rises will lead to a settling down of the construction market.
So, is it a good decision to wait? What advantages are there to starting on the building journey today?
Ahh - the age old question of whether to renovate, or knock-down-rebuild! Here’s our take on this interesting query.
We hope this post helps to clear out any confusion that may arise when you see “architectural” being brandied about in the industry. It’s everywhere, but it can sometimes mean the opposite of what you’d think it means…
So… what do Architects actually do? We get asked this question all the time!
The reality might not be what you expect. Welcome to our world - let us explain what we do for our clients!
With our great weather, laid-back lifestyle, relatively-affordable property prices (compared to Melbourne and Sydney anyway), developing cafe and cultural scene, plus the buzz of the upcoming Olympics, it’s no surprise that many are looking to migrate or come home to our river city. This year we’ve seen an increase in enquiries from both overseas and interstate, and we thought we would take this chance to explain how we make use of technology so that we can better serve our non-local clients.
Looking to renovate a 60’s highset home? Whether you call it a brick Queenslander, brick highset, butterbox or something else, we love unlocking the potential of with these somewhat humble, modest but well-built homes for contemporary living.
Are you looking for an affordable Architect in Brisbane? Many people are. Let’s talk about how EVER delivers value for our clients!
Our approach to renovating Queenslander projects - whether timber-and-tin cottages, large residences or brick highset homes - largely follows the same process as our new-build projects. We believe that our skills are particularly impactful in the Design stage, where we can create a future vision for the home that is holistically good and well considered. From here, our processes and commitments allow us to safeguard the vision and bring the project to life.
